In this study, the effects of human resources practices on individual performance were investigated. The main hypothesis of the research is the assumption that there is a positive relationship between human resources management practices and individual performance. The scale developed by Yılmaz (2012) was used to determine the perception of the human resources management and individual performance. The research was conducted on the white-collar employee group working in the private sector. 304 people participated in the online survey. The data obtained were analyzed with IBM SPSS 22.0 software program. As a result of the analysis, no statistically significant (p>0.05) relationship was not found between human resources practices and individual performance. The results of the research are generalizable for higher education private service sector employees operating in metropolitan cities such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.
