Turkish Journal of African Studies is an international academic journal published twice a year, in April and October, by Sakarya University Middle East Institute.

The publication language of our journal is Turkish and English.

Studies accepted to our journal are published as EARLY LOOK without waiting for the relevant issue.

After the manuscripts are reviewed by the editorial board, they are published after the evaluation of two referees who are experts in the subject (double blind refereeing), a third referee if deemed necessary, and the final approval of the editorial board.

Turkish Journal of African Studies prefers research written from a multidisciplinary perspective in the fields of international relations, politics, sociology, history, geography, theology, philosophy, security and economics (and other fields).
General Information

Turkish Journal of African Studies (TUJAS) is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes high quality articles on social sciences.
TUJAS is published twice a year in April and October.
Each author publishes one article per year.
The language of the articles can be Turkish or English.
The percentage of similarity in the articles should be less than 20% excluding references.
Article submissions by e-mail are not accepted.
The referee process will not be initiated for articles that do not comply with the journal's spelling rules, without references or abstracts. The Editorial Board may decide for special cases.
Ethics committee approval must be obtained for clinical and experimental human and animal research in all fields.
