Esnek Tasarımın Covid -19 Sonrası Kalıcı Konuta Dönüşen Yazlık Konut Tasarımı Üzerindeki Önemi

In this article, it is aimed to emphasize the importance of flexible design through summer house designs that have turned into permanent residences after the Covid-19 pandemic and to contribute to summer house research. In the study, it is emphasized that no matter what the changing wishes and needs of the user are, it is only possible for the residence to have the opportunity to respond to them and to change and transform, only with a flexible design. In this context, in the sample area selected for the study, the houses that underwent transformation were determined, and information about the transformation in their houses was obtained in line with the face-to-face interviews with the users and the survey. Two different methods were used in the analysis; The first of these is the statistical analysis in which the reasons related to the spatial changes made by the user in his/her residence are determined, and they are made with the "Chi Square" test in the SPSS program. The other one is the spatial analysis that provides concrete expression of the space as a result of the change and is made with the "Space Syntax" method. According to the results of the study; Retired individuals after Covid-19 and users working from home have started to use their summer houses constantly. The change in the usage period and purpose of the cottages caused the users to make spatial changes, and these changes were generally caused by the inadequacy of the size of the houses and the number of spaces. It is only possible for the user to adapt his summer residence by changing it according to his needs and to be satisfied with his residence, only with a flexible spatial solution design, and for this, it is extremely important that the user participates in the process during the design phase.

Bu makalede esnek tasarımın önemini, Covid-19 pandemisi sonrasında sürekli yaşanan konutlara dönüşen yazlık konut tasarımları üzerinden vurgulamak ve yazlık konut araştırmalarına katkıda bulunmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, kullanıcının değişen istek ve ihtiyaçları ne olursa olsun, konutun bunlara yanıt verme imkanına sahip olabilmesinin ve değişip dönüşebilmesinin ancak esnek tasarımla mümkün olacağı vurgulanmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışma için seçilen örneklem alanında, dönüşüm geçiren konutlar tespit edilmiş, kullanıcılarıyla yapılan yüz yüze görüşmeler ve anket çalışması doğrultusunda, konutlarındaki dönüşümle ilgili bilgiler elde edilmiştir. Analizlerde iki ayrı yöntem uygulanmıştır; bunlardan ilki, kullanıcının konutunda yaptığı mekânsal değişimlerle ilişkili olan nedenlerin tespit edildiği istatiksel analizlerdir ve SPSS programındaki "Chi Square" testiyle yapılmıştır. Diğeri de değişim sonucu mekânın somut biçimde ifade edilmesini sağlayan mekânsal analizlerdir ve “Space Syntax" (mekânsal dizim) yöntemi ile yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre; Covid-19 sonrası emekli olmuş bireyler ile evden çalışan kullanıcılar, yazlıklarını sürekli kullanmaya başlamışlardır. Yazlıkların kullanım süresi ve amacının değişmesi, kullanıcının mekânsal değişimler yapmasına neden olmuş ve bu değişimler genellikle konut büyüklüğünün ve mekân sayısının yetersizliğinden kaynaklanmıştır. Kullanıcının yazlık konutunu kendi ihtiyacına göre değiştirerek uyarlayabilmesi ve konutundan memnun olması ancak esnek mekân çözümlü tasarımla mümkün olmaktadır ve bunun için tasarım aşamasında kullanıcının sürece katılması son derece önemlidir.
